Meet The Instructor
I’m Fiona, the lead instructor at Wags and Whiskers Academy, and I’m passionate about helping people build confidence and skills within the grooming industry. I combine clear, easy-to-understand theory with plenty of hands-on training, so students feel supported as they learn and grow. Animal welfare is always at the heart of my teaching, and I place great importance on safe handling, patience and working at a pace that suits both the dog and the student. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I take the time to offer individual guidance, encouragement and practical advice throughout the course. My aim is to create a relaxed, welcoming learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their skills and preparing for a rewarding career in grooming.
